James Beard Winners Just 15 Minutes from Patriots Landing

Evrim Dogu of Sub Rosa Bakery and Brittanny Anderson from Metzger Bar are the 2 local chefs who are finalists in the annual James Beard contest.

Both restaurants are in  Church Hill, just 15 minutes from Patriots Landing.

Sub Rosa is a wood fired bakery and stone-milling operation specializing in the timeless craft of bread and pastry using organic, regional, and heirloom grains.

Whenever possible they first use organic fruits, meats, & vegetables grown on Virginia soil, and well as certified organic flour & sugar. The wheat, corn, & rye, which are freshly stone-milled in-house, are also organic.

Lamplighter Coffee, who sources their beans and roasts them here in Richmond, is served there.
